Luxor Museum Tour

The Luxor Museum is small, has a couple mummies, and stone pieces. This was an optional tour before leaving on our Nile River Cruise. It’s a short car ride from the ship.

Is the Luxor Museum worth visiting?

Yes, unlike the larger and far busier museum in Cairo, the Luxor Museum presents a small collection of quality pieces in a quiet and more intimate space. With the close proximity to the dock, the whole excursion can be completed in a couple hours.

It you like museums, we also had a tour of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo which had a far more extensive collection of Egyptian artifacts.
